What is Mobile Deposit?

Mobile Deposit lets you deposit checks securely from your smartphone or tablet using the Ascent Bank Mobile App. Simply take photos of the front and back of your check and submit it through the app — no need to visit a branch.

How do I use Mobile Deposit?

  1. Log in to the Ascent Bank Mobile App.
  2. Select Deposit Checks.
  3. Enter the check amount.
  4. Take a photo of the front and back of your endorsed check.
  5. Confirm and submit.

How should I endorse my check?

Sign the back of the check and write “For Mobile Deposit Only” under your signature OR if available, sign the back of the check and check mark the “Mobile Deposit” box.

When will my funds be available?

Deposits made before 4:00 PM mountain standard time on business days are typically available the next business day. Deposits made after cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed the following business day.

Is there a limit on Mobile Deposit?

Yes. Daily and monthly deposit limits apply. You can view your current limits in the Mobile App under the Check Deposit screen.

What types of checks can I deposit?

You can deposit most paper checks payable to you, including:

  • Personal checks
  • Business checks
  • Government checks

You cannot deposit:

  • Foreign checks
  • Third-party checks
  • Savings bonds

What should I do with my check after depositing it?

Keep the check in a safe place for at least 14 days to confirm it has cleared. After that, you should securely destroy it (e.g., by shredding).
