As a Credit Analyst you will work closely and collaborate with loan officers in gathering and evaluating both commercial and consumer credits. You will prepare written reports which include in-depth analysis of financial statements, historical and projection-based cash flow and ratio analysis, suggested credit structure, general industry analysis and identified risks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with loan officers to prepare credit displays.
- Analyze credit worthiness through the review of loan applications, spreading financial statements, calculating cash flows, identifying key risks and conducting research on borrowers and industries.
- Order, analyze and review credit reports, appraisals, market valuations, environmental assessments, title insurance and flood determinations.
- Ensure loans are processed efficiently and according to regulations from application through closing, including loan document preparation and review.
- Monitor and maintain loan files for current insurance, financials and other required documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, establish and meet deadlines with flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and possess the ability to assist with credit risk decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as an attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
